The Institute of Digestive Disease (IDD) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong is one of the fastest growing clinical and research facilities in Hong Kong for the treatment of digestive disorder. The strength of the Institute is in conducting translational research that focuses on collaborative scientific interactions between outstanding communities of basic and clinical investigations.

Growing steadily from its founding year in 2011, the International Digestive Disease Forum (IDDF), organized by IDD, has become one of the most important academic meetings of gastroenterology and hepatology in the Asia Pacific region. Each year, the Organizing Committee of IDDF prepares exciting and challenging programme, which broadly covers the field and provide new insight into clinical research and therapeutic intervention.
